Owner and CEO Wayne Wallace
Wayne Wallace is the founder and President of both AAASolar Source and Solar Source Institute. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Renewable Energy Engineering Technology from the Jordan Energy Institute in Michigan and is familiar with all aspects of the businesses from marketing to installations and service. He has personally installed over two hundred solar domestic hot water systems, twenty PV (Photovoltaic) systems, and over four hundred solar pool heaters.
Wayne received his solar PV grid connection certification in 99’ from the FSEC (Florida Solar Energy Center) and he is a member of FSPA (Florida Swimming Pool Association) and FlaSEIA (Florida Solar Energy Industries Association). In 96’ AAASolar Source was awarded a grant which was aimed at reducing swimming pool energy costs (RSPEC). Wayne has lead the way for his team on several remarkable installations including the largest solar pool heating system in the State and the largest roof top photovoltaic system in the Southeast US. He has overseen award winning projects in Michigan, Atlanta, Key West, and the Cayman Islands just to name a few.
Admissions Representative Celeste Dumont
Celeste has worked at AAASolar Source as the assistant to the PV sales team prior to coming over to SSI as the telephone admissions representative. Her knowledge of photovoltaic sales made her the ideal candidate to field incoming calls and questions from prospective students looking to advance their careers and businesses in the solar industry. Southeast Representative & Project Manager Mark J. Maher
Mark is the Southeast Florida Sales & Education representative of AAASolar Source and Solar Source Institute, respectively. He graduated Florida Tech as an Ocean Engineer in 1984. He brings over 25 years of Commercial and Residential Construction experience as an installer, superintendent, and mostly a project manager specializing in existing building renovations and improvements up to $100 million. He is a certified general contractor, licensed in Florida since 1992, and has a strong electrical installation background. Mark has recently joined the AAASolar Source team to increase the growth of Solar Source Institute through classroom education partnerships providing education for contractors, inspectors, teachers, and general public in the southeast area of Florida. Additionally, he is involved with commercial sales, dealer sales, consultation services, and educational instruction.

Ed Nelson
Ed brings a wealth of knowledge, training, and experience to our team. He is a Master Electrician, former electrical business owner, veteran (Air Force), project manager, and NABCEP solar instructor. As a Master Electrician for over 35 Years, Ed has worked on every facet or the Electrical Construction trade, maintenance and supervision.
Ed has completed training, or obtained certifications at Rollins College, University of Florida, Clemson University, OSHA, and the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
Trainer Gary Rex Gary holds a B.S. Degree in Physics and Math from West Liberty University in West Virginia. After college he joined the DuPont Company as an Engineer and progressed through the Senior Research Engineer position before moving into engineering management and later into sales/marketing. In sales he became the Area Manager in Florida for DuPont’s high tech Medical Products Department. After taking an early retirement from DuPont, Gary began a 12 year career as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing of a software company selling systems nationally into the medical marketplace. In 2007 he joined AAASolar Source Institute, where his expertise in engineering, sales and marketing is a valuable asset toward growing new projects.
Trainer Jeremiah Hanson Rohr
Jeremiah graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Industrial Technology and Construction Management and has worked in various manufacturing and construction organizations with a strong concentration on technology and process theory as well as the practical use of industrial grade applications. He has developed knowledge of manufacturing, engineering, construction and management skills and has been responsible for large scale business system implementation and training consisting of overall theories and general understanding of systems as well as day to day interaction, workflow processes and system development.
Jeremiah has been interested in thermal and PV solar applications since the energy crisis of the late 70’s. He has followed and studied this field as it has developed into the maturing industry that it is today. Most recently, he has received his NABCEP Certificate of Knowledge for PV Entry Level from Solar Source Institute and is the lead instructor for thermal classes for SSI, as well as a technical representative for the commercial thermal division of Solar Source.
