Gulf Power - Rebates & Incentives

Solar for Schools = $140,000/yr
Eligible: Public schools through application and contractor bid process modeled after FSEC’s SunSmart E-Shelter program
Equipment: PV systems up to 10kW per school
Incentive: Gulf will install and operate PV system for 5 years, school gets PV system at end of this time
Replaces existing Solar for Schools program which was supported by voluntary customer contributions

Solar Thermal Water Heating = $100,000/yr. (100 systems)
Eligible: Residential customers through on-line application and reservation process first-come, first serve basis
Equipment: Solar water heating systems
Incentive: $1,000 per certified STWH system - Gulf indicates that they will lower this incentive slightly (didn’t give lower incentive number) based on focus group study

Solar PV = $435,000/yr. or 220 kW/yr.
Eligible: Residential and commercial customers through on-line application and reservation process first-come, first serve basis
Equipment: PV systems
Incentive: $2/watt up to a maximum of $10,000 per customer

Solar Thermal Water Heating - Low Income = $75,000/yr or 15 systems/yr
Eligible: Low income housing developers/non-profits will be provided with system criteria
Equipment: Solar water heating systems
Incentive: Gulf will purchase and install 15 installations per year

IMPORTANT: These incentives are being launched the 1st quarter of 2011 and all dates are ESTIMATED.
