1. Grid Interactive with Battery Back Up
- Your solar system functions the same way as a basic grid tie system,
delivering power to your home during daylight hours. But the battery
storage provides protection from grid power failure. In the event of
such a failure, your inverter switches to battery power to supply your
home’s needs.
2. Grid Tie
- A solar array produces power during daylight hours, which an inverter
synchronizes with that supplied by the utility. Your home uses solar
energy first, then draws from your utility. At night, the utility
supplies 100% of your power.
